We are proud to present to you, the ‘Original Comic Version Hulkbuster’ by Chemical Attack!!
This time, we will bring you the preview using the paint master, prior to the theatrical release of ‘Avengers : AoU’ in Japan!



■Top-Class Volume in the RE:EDIT Series

Not only the design elements from the original comics, such as the distinctive metallic red and gold color scheme and massive upper torso are faithfully followed, but also new design arrange are added, such as detail that resembles multiple layers of armor on the chest to give it a more convincing look as an “Add-On Armor”.
The arms and fists are more massive in volume compared to the original comics design, emphasizing the characteristics of this powerful heavy duty armor designed to go against the HULK.

Stands tall at approx. 25 cm!
Compared with the iPhone5s and the Bleeding Edge armor from the RE:EDIT series, you can see how large this figure actually is.
The display base it stands on is designed specifically for the Hulkbuster.


■Overall Details

The metallic color for the whole body is beautifully painted.
By using different tones of colors for each segment, more detail and lively look has been added to the large sized parts.

Just check out the elaborate molds carved throughout the body.
The detail arrange that adds just the right density, which doesn’t leave large parts too flat and simple, is just what you can expect from Chemical Attack!
Clear parts are also abundantly used, with detail carved in the inner sides.

The joints are also painted to give it a more solid feel.



■Die-cast Inner Frame

Die-cast parts are used for the inner frame to provide stable articulation and the heavy feel that you expect from an IRON MAN toy, along with the massive volume.



■Light-Up & Hatch Open Gimmicks

The Arc Reactor for the eyes and chest lights up in pale blue!
This feature was also introduced in our last post, but this photo will give you an image closer to the actual product since it has been painted.

The repulsor unit in the back also lights up!
The clear part used here is yellow for a diverse image compared to the front side!
Also check out the detail inside!

Open the hatch and you’ll find the Bleeding Edge armor inside.
Unfortunately, the Bleeding Edge armor cannot be removed from the Hulkbuster, but as you can see, it has it own light-up gimmick and also the head is articulated with a ball joint.

The light-up gimmick for the Hulkbuster is actually the light emitted from the Bleeding Edge armor stored inside, which is shown through the clear parts on the eyes and chest.
Please notice that even though the light is shown through from inside, it does not look dim at all!

And for the hatch open gimmick, which created a buzz when it was revealed!
By retracting the Hulkbuster head inside, the plates on the side of the head and chest opens up with an interlinked gimmick!

■Numerous Gimmicks for Posing

The 4 fingers are fully articulated with all joints movable at each knuckle.
With this gimmick, very realistic action poses are made possible.
Also, the repulsors on its palms have LED units inside for the light-up gimmick.

The wide range of articulation is equal to or even better in comparison with other normal-sized action figures!
Even twisting its waist for a punching pose is a piece of cake, also with the large fist built for powerful poses!


■Slide Gimmicks

The slide gimmicks used in the elbow joint gives a smooth and solid outer look even when the joint is bent!
Check out the details carved into the joint parts!

The light-up gimmicks at the calves.
LED light is also built-in to both legs.

And there are also light-up gimmicks at the shins!
This is revealed only when the knees are bent, showing detailed inner parts when articulated, and adding more excitement to the posing with the light-up feature.

And we cannot forget the articulation for the knees when talking about the RE:EDIT series.

When the knee is bent to a certain extent, the calf parts are retracted inside the leg.

By retracting the calf parts inside the leg, a more wide range of articulation for the knee is possible with the interfering parts out of the way.

And articulation for the toe!
The ankle joint is made of die-cast to firmly support the huge upper torso!

With the wide range of articulation at its legs, not only firm standing poses are possible, but also the kneeling pose, which seems impossible for such a massive action figure!



■Intense Action with the Display Base!

With the display base included with the figure, you can pose and display Hulkbuster in various poses, such as the tackling pose or flight pose as shown above!
Please enjoy posing the Hulkbuster in various ways using the display base!
