IRON MAN SUIT UP! ARMORIZE IRON MAN! [Eng]

Hello everyone!

This is the item we’re introducing today!

「ARMORIZE IRON MAN」

A preview exhibit of the original sculpt took place at the 「The 16^th ACG Hong Kong」, but this is the first reveal for the colored version!

Please take a good look at the photos.

The design motif of the armor is the 「Modern Armor」which appeared in the Iron Man comics, and which became the model for the armor from the movie version.

The display at ACG HK was under the name 「Modern Armor」, but the official name of the product has been changed to 「Armorize IRON MAN」.

And now for the biggest feature of this product!

The attachable/detachable armor!

The original gimmick for 「Armorize IRON MAN」allows you to actually 「Suit Up」 Tony Stark by attaching each armor parts directly to the inner body!

The following is the step-by-step process!

Arms!

Legs!

Chest!

And put the helmet on to…

Armorize complete!

How did you like that?

You can enjoy the whole process of transforming the smart and slim Tony Stark into the strong and massive 「Iron Man」 with this single package!

(*The Tony Stark head has to be interchanged with the mask)

The engineering for the intricate articulation is done by T-REX.

A pull-out gimmick is placed in the waist part, widening the range of articulation via the joints inside.

This enables the figure to perform the renowned landing pose shown above with ease.

The waist joint is divided segment by segment, so when it’s pulled out, it does more than just make the waist articulate. It keeps the outline of the waist natural even when making poses like twisting and bending.

So poses like this, turning backwards while firing the repulsor beam, can be made very easy and naturally.

And in addition to the sharp details from using ABS, die-cast is used for the armors(shoulder, chest, thighs, feet) to give it the metallic feel and weight.

The massive, strong silhouette of the armor and highly detailed mechanic molds together form a very sharp overall look.

Just look at the mechanical details in the back side!

The body is colored in deep matte red.

And of course, the gold parts are fully painted for a high-level finish.

Clear parts will be used for the Arc Reactor in the final product.

Also check out the details for the repulsors in both palms.

2 different types of open hand parts are included for various posing situations.

The height is approximately 180mm, being a slightly bigger size than standard action figures. (The phone next to it is an iPhone5s)

Also, the weight from the die-cast parts will give you a hefty feeling when you hold it in your hands.

Here, a Rio:Board is used to recreate the flight scenes.

You can enjoy various posing that looks just like the drawings from the comic book!

Check out the details of the Tony Stark head sculpted by 「Takayuki Higashi」!

The overall face sculpt is very realistic with the detailed wrinkles at his eyebrows and cheeks which makes the expression that gives Tony that dignified look.

And another gimmick lies within his head!

Both of Tony’s eyes move freely to give various expressions to his face.

You can also pose and display Tony without the Iron Man armor attached.
