The latest from the RIOBOT Series!
MAJINKAISER！！
The Majin powerful enough to defeat demons
Majinkaiser makes it long
awaited appearance from the RIOBOT series!
Attracted the attention of many at the recent Wonderfest 2016 Winter
We will be bringing you this post in 2 parts to make sure
we can show you every detail of this amazing toy!
Part 1 will introduce the product using the colored prototype
Part 2 will showcase the various gimmicks built in that enables this
toy to have a full range of motion.
Start off with
MAJIIIIN
GO!!
■Massive Body Design
Sculpted by Sakamoto Yoichi of the design team Chemical Attack this MajinKaiser will
have a design completely different from previous Majinkaiser toys . The evil and heroic parts of the design were adjusted to form a impressive and eye-catching design.
The dark body of Kaiser will be replicated by the glossy finish to the
body which when seen in contrast to the silver on the chest and arms will
make it look even better.
The joints and the gold paint use in small amount bring out the massive
feel to this toy.
The characteristic spiral shape seen in the arms and legs will come massive while the thick outline will bring a smile to any fan of Majinkaiser.
Small details seen in numerous parts is a major feature of the work of Sakamoto Yoichi and shows his fanatic attention to details.
Diecast parts will be used to give this toy the heavy feel that fits a
toy of this massive design.
Sharp details recreated with the use of ABS part
The heat sink in the chest will come faithfully recreated with
transparent parts!
Look closely and you will notice
the details of the back and the use of two parts to make it thicker.
■Special Articulation gimmicks
No way this thick body can actually move and hold poses right?
Sorry to correct you but common sense like that doesn't take into consideration the ideas of the Design Team
Chemical Attack！
By using sliding part and numerous
gimmicks this massive body can be posed in various action poses with no change
in the overall body design.
This shouting pose with the upper body pulled in the opposite position
will be easy to do with the RIOBOT Majinkaiser.
The posing for the Fire Blaster as you can see here can be recreated
almost 100%!
The earlier RIOBOT series came built in with many gimmicks
but we feel it is safe to say the Majinkaiser will incorparate everything learned from earlier releases and can be considered the ultimate in that regard!
So much is packed in that this is almost like a collection of gimmicks!
We will go heavily into this in part 2 of this review where we will
explain the many gimmicks in detail so don't forget to check it
out!
■Option Parts
Kaiser Pilder can be detached from the main Majinkaiser body.
A Kaiser Pilder that replicates the flying form when it is separated
will also be included.
The parts on the ears will be articulated and can be moved to the Ice Beam position
Chest hatch will open with no exchanging of parts.
By attaching the Giganto Missile included the Missile Launch form can
be replicated!
By attaching the included effect parts to both arms both the Turbo
Smasher Punch and Kaiser Knuckle can also be replicated!
Also by using the base included it can be posed with the hands flying
through the air as if they were just shot off
You can almost hear Kabuto Kouji's shouting!!
This isn't all for effect parts!
Grip parts that act as effect parts for the two Kaiser Blades on the
shoulders will also be included.
The pose of Majinkaiser pulling out the Kaiser Blades seen in the OVA Majinkaiser
vs. The Great General of Darkness can be replicated with this toy thanks to the great range of motion of
this.
Note pictures only show one Kaiser Blade but rest assured two will be included!
The dramatic scene in the last episode of the first OVA series in which
the Final Kaiser Blade is pulled out from the chest can be recreated by using
the
included grip and effect parts.
KAISEEEER BLAAAADE!!
This pose is awesome no matter how many times you look at it.
The Final Kaiser Blade will come longer then even Kaiser itself.
And the Z mark on the handguard will come in the same transparent parts
that were originally seen on the chest.
Also due to the fact that the in the series the chest emblem
comes off to form the sword in the toy the chest emblem will com of to
allow you to change it into the
form seen when it wields the Final Kaiser Blade.
Look for the small details under the emblem that can only be seen when
it is taken off.
Dynamic posing with the blade wielded with both hands will be possible.
It is posed with an open hand part on the left hand in the picture
but
in the actual product the hands will be able to support the sword.
And last but not least for the option parts....
Kaiser Scrander!
Kaiser Scrander the wings of the Majinkaiser will
come in the evil looking shape but with mechanical details adjusted to
fit this toy!
First look will make you notice the huge size of them!
With the width at 320mm this will be huge!
This will be the unpainted prototype
Compared to the iphone 5s next to it and I feel it is easy to
for everyone to notice how truly massive this thing is.
Personally I feel this is pushing the limits on how massive you can
make a
product that will be mass produced.
The rumor is the this part was even larger when the product was under development.
The inside of the wings will have details carved in and then have transparent
parts
placed over to give it a very nice three dimensional look to it.
Small wings will also be made from transparent part with the sharp
edges seen on it making it seem like demon wings.
Flight scenes from the series can be recreated.
All option parts mentioned up to here can be seen in the picture.
East to tell just by size which is the Final Kaiser Blade as well as
which part
is the Kaiser Scrander!
This is all for part one!!
For part two we will take a good look at the built in gimmicks that for
the spine of this item.
