In
this series, a common body will be used to produce various Marvel comic super heroes
so as to offer our customers the best value for the money!
Of
course, each super hero will still have their own uniquely designed “suit” and iconic
coloring so you can barely feel they are in fact using the same body.
The first item of this exciting new series will be “FIGHTING
ARMOR Iron Man”!
“What if… Tony Stark integrates each of the Avengers’ super
power into an armor?”
And this unprecedented toy concept has given birth to our
new project.
Mitsunari Otenfu handles design and rearrangement while
Hiroyuki Komatsubara (studio RECKLESS) manages project direction and prototype
making.
In
this innovative series, the human body will be covered in a “suit” while each
joint point is carefully designed in pursuit of articulation as close as
possible to that of a true human body.
We also have plans for other Marvel heroes besides Iron
Man. Characters which are now under development includes Wolverine, Captain
America, Deadpool and Iron Spider!!
If
you are familiar with “RE:EDIT IRON MAN” series that we launched in the past, figure
from “Fighting Armor” series is a little bit smaller and stands approximately
165mm.
The size is just good for collection, allowing any
character from the series to fit in well when being posed side by side with other
1/12 scale figures found in the market.
ABS
is used for sharp detailed image while some parts are made of die-cast to increase
overall weight.
Eyes
and arc reactor in the chest are clear parts.
The
product comes with a specially designed display stand.
The
movable arm which supports the figure can slide along the edge of the base.
The body will be spray painted with mainly deep metallic
red and gold, an instantly recognizable colour scheme for Iron Man.
Two
sets of open hands are included so that you can display him in all his iconic moves
like firing a repulsor ray, flying or any other action poses you can think of.
The
head has a very wide range of motion. Reproducing his impressive landing pose
and flying pose looks so effortless!
By
pulling out the hip joint, range of movement can be further increased.
The
ankle has two axes of articulation. The ankle armor is also movable so that the
feet can touch the ground beautifully without hindrance at any time.
The
3mm joint holes on the back are compatible with the peg of the display stand
arm. Even aerial poses can be stably displayed.
When
flying, air flaps at the back can be deployed and reactors hidden underneath will
then be shown.
The
4 holes being uncovered are also 3mm joint holes. Let’s look
forward to the possibility of a crossover with other characters in the future line-up!
