To fight against "Godzilla"…

the monster which attacked and destroyed Japan's capital Tokyo countless times and considered as "disaster"  just as the "Angels" are,

this is an  "Anti-G Weapon"   which NERV constructed with technical data feedback from the  "Kiryu Series"   developed by the Japan Counter-Xenomorph Self Defense Force in the past.

It is at its prototype stage, and is given the name "Anti-G Special Decisive Weapon - Shiryu (Purple Dragon) Prototype Unit 01."

Among its armaments, are small blades on its spine and tail utilizing the same technology as the Progressive Knife, which can sever various objects at a molecular level using high vibration particles.

Also, it boasts a high close-combat capability with the "Anti Kaiju Battle Blades" attached to its arms.

… And thus, this time,

we are introducing the colour prototype of

"RIOBOT NERV Anti-G Special Decisive Weapon – Shiryu(Purple Dragon) Prototype Unit 01",

which came from an exotic collaboration project "Godzilla vs Evangelion"!

Designed by Yoji Shinkawa of Kojima Productions!

And incorporated with extensive robot setting, it becomes the latest RIOBOT item which attracts not only Godzilla fans but also Evangelion lovers' attention!

Design for the "Shiryu" is by Yoji Shinkawa of Kojima Productions, as a product for the "Godzilla x Evangelion" collaboration project, skillfully merging the world of Godzilla and Evangelion together.

The figure is about 18cm tall.

The base color is titanium-imaged, which gives a feeling of depth to the final finished surface.

The small blades on its spine, which utilizes the same technology as the Eva Progressive Knife, is sharply made and painted with gradation to produce a unique texture.

The fluorescent embellishment in head and arms is incorporate smoothly into the design, as reminiscent of Eva.

Its body being mostly consisted of ABS plastic, and nylon based parts for articulation.

The wide range of motion enables it to take a hunchbacked pose like a  "Kaijyu" (monster), or standing straight up like an Eva unit.

The jaw can be open or closed, so posing which images a roar scene looks very powerful.

"Anti KAIJU Battle Blade" can be equipped in both arms.

You can swap the blades freely to represent in-use (expanded) or not-in-use status.

Since the main body has a wide range of motion, the posing using the blades is full of dynamism!
