「Justice Enforced」
From the hit TV animation series 'One-Punch Man', the ultimate hero with unsurpassed strength, 'Saitama' is now a 1/6th scale statue in all his glory!
In our past blog post, we showed the teaser image and announcements for the prototype sculpt on display at Anime Expo 2016, but this time, we're going all out with photos of the paint master!
With his trademark bal...er, skinhead, the white cape and yellow suit, his appearance from the TV show is perfectly recreated in this glorious statue!
From a lower angle.
The photo shown here and the one before are taken with a wide-angle lens.
With the wide-angle lens, the right hand fist and his left knee looks larger, giving Saitama a more dynamic look. Please give this a try with your camera when you are taking photos of him at home.
And this time with a black backdrop.
Saitama's sharp eyes, which gives him a totally different look from his everyday spiritless face, is a recreation of the moment of impact of his 'Serious Punch'.
With his sleek skinhead and triangular wrinkles between his eyes, Saitama has never looked more serious before.
The coloring master is done by our finisher, 'Yoji Hayakawa'.
The glove and suit are finished in different levels of gloss, giving a realistic feel to the suit itself.
And Saitama's firm body, formed by intense training which sacrificed his hair, is portrayed strong and beautifully by sculptor 'Yuuki Ishiyama'!
The vibrant sculpt which portrays the flow and movement of the muscles, can be truly said that the 'god resides within!'
The tiny wrinkles of Saitama's suit also gives the feeling of material and a tight fit to his body, to help build up the realistic feel of the figure.
Included in this figure, is the dedicated display stand for Saitama.
Without having any joint holes for the display stand, which hinders the beatiful sculpt of the figure, this display stand enables you to display and enjoy the figure from various angles.
Ans the display arm can be articulated flexibly, for you to have the statue in any situation you like.
So, for example...
「Overwhelming strength,」
「is actually boring」
Saitama is presented in the world standard size of 1/6th scale.
So if you have any other 1/6th scale figures at home, you can make up your own situation of having the figures being 'punched' by Saitama!
It is good to enjoy Saitama displayed by himself, but if you have a collection of your own, wouldn't it be fun to have him 'punch' other opponents?
That's all!
The '1/6th scale Saitama' is
